TableSnap is a browser extension that extracts tables and repeating card layouts from web pages you are viewing and converts them into CSV, Excel, JSON, Markdown or clipboard data — entirely on your device.
Only after you click the extension and choose "Grab a table", TableSnap reads the content of the table or card layout you clicked on, in the tab you clicked it in. This access is temporary (per-tab, per-click) and the extracted data is processed locally in your browser's memory.
When you activate the Pro version, the license key you paste is sent to
api.gumroad.com (operated by Gumroad, Inc.) to confirm it is a valid purchase.
This request contains the license key and nothing else — no page data, no personal data,
no browsing history. Your key is then stored locally in your browser so Pro stays unlocked.
The extension stores two things in your browser's local extension storage: (a) your license key and (b) your preferences (for example, your auto-clean toggle choice). This storage lives only on your device and is deleted permanently when you remove the extension.
Purchases are processed entirely by Gumroad, Inc. ("merchant of record"). Payment card details go directly to Gumroad and are governed by Gumroad's privacy policy. TableSnap's developer never sees your payment details.
Because TableSnap collects no personal data, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete. Uninstalling the extension erases 100% of the data it holds. If you have any question about your data, contact us and a human will answer.
TableSnap is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children — because it collects no personal information at all.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the extension's store listing.
